An Emerald Evening

I’ve wanted to for some time now, but just have had a hard time finding the right evening to get out for an Emerald Bay sleep over. Weather was brisk but beautiful. The moon was a mere sliver and stars were abundant over the calm water for the evening. I took in a movie and woke early to catch the sun rise in the bay. Ellie got some serious swim time, and we both look forward to another night on the boat next summer. A definite repeat.

Not a bad view as I cruised in to the bay

Home for the evening

First light is stunning

With the slightest reflection of moon on the water

Colors soften as dawn passes

Gorgeous morning when the sun breaks the ridge

Ellie at attention

This pup is my co-pilot

Hazardous waters

Glass and some great reflections

Ancient sticks

Plenty of play time after the temps come up
